Description
The LokSound by ESU LokPilot XL V4.0 is a DCC decoder for G Scale locomotives. The LokPilot Fx V4.0 is a multi-protocol DCC, Selectrix or Motorola decoder. With its high motor-output performance, eight function and four servo channels, as well as an integrated PowerPack to carry it through momentary power interruptions, it is ideal for outdoor railway and large scales. Screw terminals make installation simple.
The LokPilot XL V4.0 supports 14 – 128 speed steps and two and four-digit addressing. It supports all DCC programming modes and can be operated and programmed with all DCC compatible digital command stations. If using RailCom you can also read out CV values on the main with a suitable command station. Motorola users can use up to 28 speed steps and 255 addresses (plus another three for an additional 16 functions), and the decoder can detect Marklin brake sections. Programming using the Marklin Control Unit 6021 is also possible. The M4 protocol ensures an automatic recognition of the decoder by mfx)-compatible command stations (e.g. Marklin Central Station or mobile station). Reprogramming of M4 decoders is still possible with the mentioned command stations, like with original Mrklin) decoders. ESU is 100% compatible. The LokPilot XL V4.0 is a dual-mode decoder and can be used on analogue DC layouts.
The LokPilot XL V4.0 decoder is equipped with fifth generation load compensation. The control frequency can be adjusted for silent drive with most motors. The decoder has eight function outputs and four servo channels for various animation possibilities on large scale engines. LokPilot XL V4.0 is part of the line of ESU LokSound decoders.
