Description
The LokSound by ESU ECoSDetector RC can monitor four blocks in a special way. RailCom(R) technology (local detector) shows if the block is occupied and can also indicate exactly which train is located there (using train number-address detection) when your locomotives are equipped with RailCom-capable decoders.
Knowing which train is located where leads to new functions in conjunction with the route setting feature of the ECoS: you may, for instance, activate grade crossings or route specific trains into certain tracks in your yards or depots. The detection inputs and sensors work electronically to assure reliable feedback even on dirty track.
Each ECoSDetector RC is directly wired to the command station via the EcoSlink bus. Besides the ECoS command station, all versions of the Marklin Central Station (when updated with ESU applications) are suitable. The command station automatically detects and registers all ECoSDetector modules. The devices are easily configured with the command station after installing the devices. The operating software (firmware) of each ECoSDetector can be updated and expanded whenever necessary and is accomplished through the command station. The ECoSDetector RC is part of the comprehensive ESU command control system.
