Description
A high-sensitivity track detector for DCC operations using the DS54 Quad switch Decoder (sold separately) and LocoNet. Internal “anti-chatter filtering” prevents power feed and short-circuit problems as locos cross powered blocks. Detector operates only when a loco (or other current load) is completely inside the detected block.
Complete LocoNet occupancy detection (no DS54 required) gives you local occupancy status and power zone reporting via fascia mounted LEDs or computer. BLD16 is also used as a host for RX4 transponder receivers.
