This is a BLMA Models 52917 HO Scale CEFX Trinity 64′ Reefer #992135. The 64′ Trinity modern refrigerator car is built by Trinity Rail starting in late 2003, the unique 64′ Reefer Box Car was designed for increased capacity, shipping protection, and loading/unloading efficiency. Large enough to fit the equivalent of four 53′ truck trailer contents, these excess height, plate ‘F’ cars have given new life to the once flourishing refrigerated movement of produce and other perishable goods.

The CEFX has 29 of these massive cars in service throughout the US on all major Class 1 railroads. Similar to the Union Pacific ARMN Reefers, the CEFX models feature a Thermo King Reefer unit, plus a different door.
