Description
Built in Brainerd, Minnesota, these wooden box cars were used to avoid the USRA allocations. The cars were based on an earlier but shorter design, and were fitted with both a steel center sill and truss rods to provide additional strength. Some lasted into the 1950s.
These kits consist of thin, flexible, styro-urethane castings, stripwood, Tichy brake parts, reformed wire garb irons and instructions. Cars do not include couplers or trucks.
