Convert your favorite motive power to DCC operation quickly and easily with these decoders. Designed for snap-in installation with no soldering or frame modification required. Simply remove the existing light board, open the frame, apply tape to isolate the motor, reassemble the frame, plug in the decoder and you’re ready to run. (Units may be adapted to other engines with some additional work.) Each unit features:- 1.0 Amp (1.5 Amps Peak) rating- Four Real FX functions available with LED headlight/s included- Two and four digit addressing and decoder assisted consisting- Programmable starting, mid-range and maximum voltage
Measures: 0.5485″ (13.9mm) wide, 3.1955″ (81.1mm) long with LED, 2.2165″ (56.30mm) long without LED, 0.1015″ (2.5mm) at the thickest point. The LED leads on this decoder can be shortened or re-formed to accommodate installation in other locomotives if needed.
